Interpersonal violence - sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking - can happen to anyone. More than one in three women and one in six men will experience interpersonal violence in their lifetimes. Advocates at OWPS are trained to assist with crisis intervention, support and connection to resources. We can work with survivors and their friends and loved ones to help explore legal, medical, emotional, academic and campus disciplinary options available. Most of all, we can serve as a confidential sounding board to talk through the many emotions you may be experiencing.
Below are several guides that may help you and your loved ones navigate the difficult aftermath of interpersonal violence. Please feel free to call us at 970-491-6384 or email us at owps@lamar.colostate.edu with any questions.
